Yesterday, I was sitting beside my boyfriend in Belmar, NJ dangling my feet over the marina. Those who know me know just how much I enjoy a good sunrise or sunset – something I haven’t got the chance to really take the time to watch for a while now. There is something about the tranquility, quietness and beauty that allow me to escape from reality within the couple minutes at the sky turns into pretty pinks, purples and oranges. It feels good having someone I love next to me, too.

Life can get hectic for all of us. Sometimes I forget just how fortunate I am to live this life I was blessed with. Everything from the people in my life, the opportunities I’ve been presented with and the place I get to call home. Not everything was handed to me, but I am spoiled with so much more than money and materialistic objects.  The more I post the more you will see how simple of a girl I truly am.

My mom once told me, “Always find the time to watch the sunset! Will make the next day that much better.” Mama knows best. Life is too awesome not to enjoy every sunset and look forward to every sunrise. Life’s awesome. Enjoy your days, love and always be thankful.
